About St. John's and Its History
|
From the Worshipful Master October 2007
Brethren,
My brothers, September is behind us! We had a very busy schedule and it looks like we have a busy October ahead. We are still behind on our work so we’ll be doing work at our Stated again this month. It’s the FC Degree, so it shouldn’t be a late night.
Brethren, Oct 12th is a very special night for our District and our Lodge. We have two District Officers (William Sawyer is our DDGM and Robert Sutherland is our DEO) and it is their job to put on about half of the Lodge of Instruction for the Grand Lodge. Your attendance is needed to show your support for these Grand Officers. We have a special event planned and you don’t want to miss it! It is required that the WM, SW, JW, Treasurer, and Secretary to be in attendance as well as all newly raised MM since the last LOI. Some of the members of the lodge are helping with the program of the LOI, so come and see what is happening.
Ye Old English Pub is now open and we will be using that for our suppers from now on. The Kitchen is completed!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be have our annual Past Master’s night this month on the 24th and Rod Robinson has contacted all the Past Masters with their parts. This should be a Great Night so plan on being there.
We have will be doing another joint MM with St Andrew’s on the 13th of October at 9:00 AM, we have been doing these MMs on Saturday’s so that the older members can get out during the day and not have to drive at night and it seem that we are getting a better turn out.
Fraternally, Bob Sutherland
