About St. John's and Its History
|
From the Worshipful Master July 2007 Brethren,
My brothers, June was great! We gave the scholarships to three high school students, we did the FC degree with St. Andrew’s and had another St John’s Sunday.
This month, we have our Stated on the 4th, an EA hosted by St. Andrew’s on the 23rd and a MM on Saturday, the 28th. PLEASE note; there will NO meals at any of these meetings.
On the Stated, we will start at 7:00PM! NOTE—DRESS CODE FOR THE OFFICERS WILL BE BLACK SLACKS AND SHORT-SLEAVE SHIRTS (NO TIES). NO JACKETS FOR THE BREATHERN. Regular pants and shirts are requested; no shorts and flip flops please. We will do our business and retire to the hall for refreshments.
Remember the Stated in August is our annual Veterans Night. The Grand Master will be with us this evening for the 50 year and above metals and some very special things. Dress for the evening for OFFICERS WILL BE FORMAL WHITE.
August will also be the Clam Bake and, if all goes well, we will hold our visitation then as well.
WORK HAS STARTED ON THE OLD GRILL ROOM and it is almost done and will soon be called The Olde English Café or Ye Olde English Pub. A special thanks to Tom Hand and his crew who are doing a great job! Fraternally, Bob Sutherland
