About St. John's and Its History
|
From the Worshipful Master February 2007 Brethren, I was very pleased to see so many on the sidelines for our joint meeting with St. Andrew’s last month. We worked five men making them masons on that evening. We had full sidelines for them and good work and a great evening of fellowship. My brothers, the work on the building is getting close to an end and only a few items are left. We have endured a lot but it will be worth it! We still have some things to do so hang in there and keep coming and keep up with what is going on. As you can see, the lodge is very busy with degree work again this year. Your officers and I ask that you support our new Brothers by making as many of these meetings as you can. Membership on the sidelines makes them feel welcome. We are two months into the year already and we have two new Master Masons and three new Brothers. We will be opening on the EA degree so that all may attend and take part. Our JW has asked to open and close the Lodge this month. Please and give him your support. We will be presenting the checks to those that we voted for donations last month at this meeting and this will be a Semi-Public meeting for that portion, so bring the family and friends. Fraternally, Bob Sutherland
